Building Science
Eligibility Requirements
The NC Foam Scholarship is available to rising sophomore, junior, or senior full-time (12 semester hours) students majoring in Building Science with a minimum GPA of 2.7 overall and 3.0 within their major. Furthermore, applicants from Surry County, North Carolina will be given first consideration.
Scholarship Amount
Two $1200 scholarships will be awarded for the upcoming academic year, depending on funding availability. If selected to receive the scholarship, awards are typically posted to student accounts in two installments, equal to half of the awarded scholarship amount, at the beginning of Fall and Spring semesters.
Application Procedure
The applicants will be evaluated based on financial need, as well as their professional goals and academic accomplishments. A completed financial aid form must be on file with the Office of Financial Aid. Eligible candidates' applications will be considered and the scholarship awarded by the Technology Scholarship Committee. The recipient will be notified by the Chair of the Committee.
