Eligibility Requirements
One $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science within the Department of Sustainable Technology and the Built Environment A) The scholarship will be established for an entering freshman from North Carolina who is and remains for the duration of their college career in good academic standing. B) Preference given to an employee or child of an employee from Carolina Business Interior (CBI). However, if there are no applicants who meet this criteria other applicants will be considered. C) Preference given to students who demonstrate a sense of involvement with the community and show a passion for their respective majors. D) Preference given to students who demonstrate a financial need. The scholarship shall be automatically renewable each year should these students maintain the above criteria.
Scholarship Amount

Application Procedure
The applicants will be evaluated based their professional goals and academic accomplishments. Eligible candidates' applications will be considered and the scholarship awarded by the Technology Scholarship Committee. The recipient will be notified by the Chair of the Committee.
