As an alumnus of the Department of Sustainable Technology and the Built Environment, you serve as an ambassador by helping to promote the department's programs and by helping to build important relationships with our broader professional communities. We encourage and welcome your continuing involvement in the department.
- Stay In Touch
We want to hear hear how you're doing! Please let us know of your accomplishments and job status at firstname.lastname@example.org. Remember to connect with us on LinkedIn too. Update your information on Appalachian's Alumni Page as well.
- Get Involved
Share your knowledge by being a guest speaker in classes or to a Department of Sustainable Technology and the Built Environment student organization. Consider hiring one of our student interns, or taking part in a Jobs Fair to interview prospective employees. If interested in pursuing these options, contact Department Chair Brian Raichle at email@example.com, or contact the program directors listed for the program of interest.
We welcome professional connections and those interested in the department to tour a facility, be a guest speaker if you have expertise in an area of interest, hire our students for internships or employment, or to give. Feel free to contact the Program Director of your area of interest.
If you are have an employment or internship opportunity specific to our students, you can connect with the Internship Coordinator of the appropriate area: Brent Summerville in Sustainable Technology or Jason Miller in Building Science.
