"Team Sunergy is competing in the American Solar Challenge (ASC) and the Formula Sun Grand Prix (FSGP). The ASC is a 1,975 mile road race beginning on July 30 in the Cuyahoga National Park in Ohio and ending in Hot Springs South Dakota on August 7. This year the ASC is collaborating with the National Parks Service to commemorate their centennial anniversary. Team Sunergy must qualify in the FSGP which is being held at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex. The FSGP is a circuit race that tests our car's handling ability as well as the systems that make the car operate.
