Coming in recently as 2nd place Division winners of the Solar District Cup Collegiate Design Competition (DOE), our Solar Team was recognized as striking a unique balance between financial return and customer impact. The competition challenges students to design and model distributed energy systems for a campus or urban district. With a unique vision on collaboration between academia and industry, the Solar District Cup is nationally known as extremely competitive, so we’re very proud of our interdisciplinary App State student team, led by our faculty member Dr. Jaewon Oh.
