Industrialized Design and Construction, the New Trend Dr. Arezou Sadoughi represented Appalachian State University as one of the featured speakers. One of our assistant professors, Dr. Arezou Sadoughi and her colleagues Gregory Sloditskie and Ken Lowney, spoke at the World of Modular Annual Conference on April 25, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Sadoughi presented "A New Design Approach to Industrialization by Mass Timber Structure" at the conference, which is one of the largest national venues for offsite/industrialized construction. According to the Modular Building Institute, this conference has provided professionals in the commercial modular building industry a place to network, exchange ideas, learn from experts, discuss issues, promote new products, and receive well-deserved awards and industry recognition.
