The Sustainable Technology Program in the Department of Sustainable Technology and the Built Environment (STBE) at Appalachian State University is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track assistant faculty position with emphasis in renewable electricity systems such as: wind, electric vehicles, battery storage, PV, microgrid.

Teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses related to sustainability and renewable energy technology in the Sustainable Technology program and expand the professional contacts of the program in the renewable energy industry. Other responsibilities include maintaining an active research agenda, participating in program and departmental service work, advising students, and maintaining and enhancing student/research labs.
Throughout their teaching, research, and service duties, the successful applicant should promote diversity and inclusive excellence.
