The Sustainable Technology program welcomes Dr. Jaewon Oh as its newest assistant professor this fall. Dr. Oh holds a master’s degree in Alternative Energy Technology from Arizona State University and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University. Upon completing his doctorate, Dr. Oh worked in Arizona State University’s Photovoltaic Reliability Laboratory as a Postdoctoral Research Associate on Department of Energy funded projects that included: prediction of PV module field degradation and reliability evaluation and design for next generation high-efficiency PV modules. His teaching and research interests in Sustainable Technology include Reliability of PV cell, module, and system; PV cell and module characterization; Performance testing; Accelerated testing; PV cell and module fabrication; Building Integrated PV (BIPV); PV system design.
